LOS ANGELES, COUNTY- On Thursday, November 10, 2022. The state of California filed a lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges that Dupont,3M, and sixteen other smaller businesses of covering up the harmful conditions, brought on by chemicals found in the blood, of human beings and the environment, that have accumulated in the Bodies of Water throughout the state.The lawsuit was filed in Alameda County, by Attorney General Rob Bonta, and is the first suit extending throughout all parts of a state's legal action, over PFAS contamination. And alleges violations of state consumer protection and environmental statutes, invoking a federal law that confirms a path to recoup the expenses of cleaning dangerous substances found in the water and soil.The EPA warned then that the chemicals are more hazardous than previously believed, and pose health risks. Levels of the chemicals are low, and presently cannot be detected.
