Missing California mother found deceased in Antelope Valley, ex-husband in custody

Los Angeles, County-The remains of Rachel Castillo, 25, who was reported missing on the evening of, was discovered in an isolated area in Antelope Valley, Thursday, November. 10, 2022, according to a statement released by Simi Valley police authorities, on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

 Police Authorities said in a statement that the victim's sister reported Castillo, missing after finding a “significant amount of blood” in the residence they resided at. The statement also indicated that officer's apprehended Castillo's 25-year-old ex-husband, Zarbab Ali, a resident of Hawthorne, at the home of his parents in Victorville, in connection with the killing.

The case is still under active investigation, police say. Additional information will be reported as the details become available.
