Electrical Power Lines down in Sylmar

SYLMAR-LAFD responded to an emergency call regarding a snapped electrical power pole slanting toward a one-level strip mall, on 15230 West Roxford Street, on November 16, 2022.

Occupants in the mall and seven residential homes in the back of the mall were evacuated. LA DWP was dispatched to repair the downed power pole.

Commuters traveling in the area at the intersection of Roxford Street and Glenoaks Blvd were asked to seek an alternate route.
