Update November 20, 2022, 3:40 p.m, during a search of the premises LAFD found one deceased individual whose's identification has not been released. The designated time and manner of death will be available after the Coroner's inquest.

The original Story
LONG BEACH-Today 106 LAFD Fire officials contained and put out a one-story commercial structure fire, at3:57 a.m., on 1456 South Long Beach Avenue.
The building was the site of a prior fire, which advanced to a flammable contents pallet yard. One Firefighter suffered a non-life-threatening burn wound and was transported to a nearby hospital in okay condition.
No one else was injured and reports of structural damage were indicated. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
