Red Carpet
The “red-carpet treatment” was foremost set in use in 1902 by the New York Central Railroad to usher individuals boarding the 20th Century Limited train, later in 1961, the Academy Awards rolled out the red carpet for famous people.
Subsequently, in 1966 for the first time, the Oscars were broadcast in color, giving observers at home a glance of their favored celebs “walking the red carpet” in their best evening attire. “Red carpet” has been interchangeable with films and Hollywood from that time to the present.
