LONG BEACH-Today officials in Long Beach are preparing for threats of possible flooding as a result of high tides, by constructing raised barriers to safeguard coastal residences, with sandbags., Authorities reported that two houses have nominal water damage.
The Command Center on Ocean Boulevard is watchful and completely staffed if a flooding emergency occurs in the area. Authorities in Long Beach went door to door, to check on residents in the community.
