Endeavour Middle School evacuated due to notification of dangerous threat

On February 2, 2024, Deputies were dispatched to a middle school in Lancaster following a report of a verbal threat directed at the school. According to the LA County Sheriff's Department, the threat seems to be targeting Endeavour Middle School located at 45th Street and Avenue K. As a precautionary measure, the students were evacuated while the deputies conducted a thorough search of the school. Footage from Newschopper 4 showed a large group of students gathered outside the school buildings and on a field.
