The Human Trial peels back the headlines to show the tears, sweat, and passion that emphasizes the sacrifice streamed into every aspect of a medical breakthrough. It incorporates the stories of the people, who have endured the physical and monetary hurdles of type 1 diabetes (T1D), with the researchers who exemplify the battle of innovating methods to find cures for diabetes.

The statistics for Type 1 Diabetes indicate that 8.7 million individuals around the globe are living with type 1 diabetes. In type 1 diabetes, the pancreas does not make insulin.

According to the ADA, 1.25 million Americans suffer from this chronic illness.
This documentary is centered around, hope, the fight for life, ending the suffering, and the neverending battle scars to find a cure for Diabetes.
