Kevin Conroy, The Voice of Batman, Dies at 66

NEW YORK— DC Comics superhero Batman voice-over artist in multifarious media, Kevin Conroy, 66, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022, following a battle with cancer, Conroy's death was confirmed by his representative. The cause of Conroy's death was not disclosed to the public.

Conroy became famous as a voice actor, in the animated series Batman, spanning from 1992 to 1996.

"Kevin was perfection," said Mark Hamill in a statement issued by Conroy's representatives on Friday, November 11, 2022, Hamill voiced the role of Joker opposite of Conroy's Batman. "He was one of my favorite people on the planet, and I loved him like a brother. He truly cared for the people around him - his decency shone through everything he did. Every time I saw him or spoke with him, my spirits were elevated."

Conroy was born on November 30, 1955, in New York, and leaves behind, his husband Vaughn C. Williams, Tom Conroy his brother, and his sister Trisha Conroy,
