2 People Killed in Single-engine Arion Lightning Aircraft Crash

TORRANCE-Two victims were killed in a plane crash on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at an airport in Torrance. according to officials.

In a statement released by The Federal Aviation Administration, officials stated that the collision occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. when the pilot was trying to land the plane at Zamperini Field Airport, and the plane crashed down at the west end of a runway.

The identity of the victims who were killed has not been released pending the investigation and notification to the next of kin.

FAA Officials and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the reason the airplane crashed.

No one else was injured in the incident.
