Man Critically injured after being Hit by a Train, in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES-A man was severely injured after being hit by a Metro Rail Blue Line train on Friday, in the area of Central and Almeda, in Los Angeles at 7:08 p.m.

The incident occurred on January 13, 2023, at 1657 East Slauson Avenue, LAFD Firefighter Rescue Teams extracted the man from the train tracks and LAFD Paramedics rushed the victim to a regional trauma center, in critical condition.

Trains were shut down during the incident.
