LAPD: A Vehicle was Carjacked With Baby Inside, Suspect Arrested

LOS ANGELES, CA — A toddler was found safe after a suspect carjacked a vehicle today at approximately 2:00 p.m., with the baby inside the car, police said.

The incident occurred on Woodman Avenue and Sherman Way, in the San Fernando Valley, police said. The vehicle was later found with the 1-year-old baby inside, according to police officials. There was no immediate update on whether the child was reunited with the parents or if the child was injured.

The suspect was arrested, but his or her identity has not been released officers said.

update: On February 7, 2023, Police found the suspect and the stolen vehicle in Panorama city, The child was reported un-injured and reunited with his or her father, according to officials.
