Firefighters extinguish Valley Glen Structure Fire

A row of bungalows burst in flames at 6641 N Whitsett Avenue in the Valley Glen area of Los Angeles today at approximately 2:18 p.m.

The LAFD said the fire started in the last bungalow and the blaze extended into the shared attic space and was burning in the east toward Whitsett ave.

28 firefighters battled and extinguished the fire.

Whitsett Ave is shut down to traffic between Archwood St and Kittridge Street, motorists traveling in on Whitsett, are asked to avoid the area.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
