1 Person rescued off the ledge of the 110 Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles

DOWNTOWN, LOS ANGELES-LAFD was dispatched to the scene of a report involving a person on the ledge over the SouthBound 110 Freeway, at 1:57 p.m., on 689 S Francisco Street.

Fire rescue teams arrived at the location on February 15, 2023, and utilized an air rescue buffer to help law officials in an attempt to safely get the individual on level ground.

During the incident, drivers are urged to bypass the area.

There is no information on the person's identity or there medical condition.
