POLICE seek the publics help in identifying person/s responsible for PELLET BB gun shootings in Westlake district

Westlake District, Los Angeles-AnĀ individual was shot in the head with a BB gun in the recent series of six projectile shootings in Westlake since December 14, 2022 authorities said.

The incident happened roughly at 3:15 a.m. on Thursday in the 1200 block of Wilshire Boulevard, between Alvarado Street and the Harbor 110 Freeway.

Officers said one victim was standing outside a tent near Wilshire Boulevard and Lucas Avenue, and another victim was asleep inside the tent when the first victim was hit by an unknown projectile of external force,Ā and the second victim was struck in the right side of the face in the cheek.

The other shooting occurred, on December 20, 2022,between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., in the vicinity of Whitmer and Ingraham streets, where the victim was shot in the face by a suspect armed with a pellet or BB gun.

On December 23, at approximately 2:00 a.m. a victim, was shot in the back with an unknown caliber weapon, near Wilshire Boulevard and Whitmer Street. at roughly 5:10 a.m., on January 12, a victim sitting in a wheelchair was shot twice in the head on the 1200 block of Wilshire Boulevard, and on January 14, at 3 a.m. another person was wounded by an unknown suspect in the area of Wilshire Boulevard and Whitmer Street.
