The Los Angeles Fire Department's air and land units rescued two adults and one pet feline at 11200 Oro Vista Avenue, at 9:25 a.m.
The incident occurred today on arid ground in an isolated area of the stormwater-filled Tujunga Wash at the footing of the San Gabriel Mountains.
The victims were assessed and diagnosed with symptoms of hypothermia, all victims were airlifted by hoist maneuver into an LAFD Rescue Chopper and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The identity of the couple has not been released, nor if the pet cat, was male or female.
