Eli Lilly will cut the cost of insulin prices up to 70% due to pressure to limit costs

American pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly announced on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, they intend to slash the cost of its most popular prescribed insulin products by 70% and develop a program that limits patient costs to $35 per month.

According to Eli Lilly the cost of Humalog, the company's most frequently prescribed insulin medication, will decrease by 70% at the end of this year, The markdown affects many Humalog medicines, including, Humalog Mix 50/50,  Humalog U-100, and Humalog Mix 75/25.
