News You May Have Missed: Mulholland Drive Mud Slide in Beverly Crest

An evacuation order went into effect on Tuesday in Beverly Crest, after heavy rainfall, residue, and mud damaged an electric pole.

Most of the damage occurred in the vicinity of 13150 West Mulholland Drive as a flow of mud and debris imperiled one or more residences.

According to LAFD, There have been no reports of human injuries, and Mulholland Drive was closed to all commuters between Deep Canyon Drive and Coldwater Canyon Drive. [Patch]
