Los Angeles City Council Calls for a Report on Mental Health and Domestic Violence Calls

On Tuesday, March 14, The Los Angeles City Council requested city staff members to create a report involving the number of mental health and domestic violence calls in the city and how to satisfactorily respond and potentially expand its Mental Evaluation Unit and Domestic Abuse Response Team to respond to such incidents, rather than law enforcement officials police.
