CHILDREN'S COVID-19 CASES AND COVID VACCINATION RATE REPORTS

The American Academy of Pediatrics and Children's Hospital Association are monitoring the number of child COVID-19 cases reported on a weekly basis. The latest report, the Children and COVID-19: State Data Report for the week ending March 16, indicates that about 16,000 child cases were reported. The overall cumulative total is more than 15.5 million since when the pandemic began. This report is updated every Monday and can be found here.: Children and COVID-19: State-Level Data Report

VACCINE RATES

The AAP recommends a COVID-19 vaccination for all children and adolescents 6 months of age and older who do not have contraindications using a vaccine authorized for use for their age.
