LAFD Rescue Person Threatening to Jump from structure in Downtown Los Angeles

DOWNTOWN, LOS ANGELES-The Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department are responding to a situation at 501 W Chavez Avenue, where a patient is making a threatening jump. 

The incident occurred on March 23, at 10:34 a.m.
To ensure commuter safety, it is recommended that traffic avoid this area.
Firefighters have been sent with inflated rescue cushions to assist in the matter.
