The U.S.Coast Guard is searching for a downed airplane with Three people onboard near San Clemente Island

The U.S. Coast Guard Air Station San Diego has reported that a search and rescue operation is currently in progress for a downed aircraft with three individuals on board. 

The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, located one-mile southwest of San Clemente Island. 

The U.S. Coast Guard Air Station San Diego has dispatched an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew to aid in the search and rescue efforts.
