Seal Beach -Severe flooding has inundated the parking lots and nearby streets in Seal Beach, and it is predicted to carry on throughout Thursday as workers endeavor to stem the rising waters. One automobile is almost entirely submerged due to the torrent, which has additionally encroached upon some local residential areas close to the Seal Beach Pier.

A Beach Hazard Alert was declared for many parts of the South California seaboard, including Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, and Malibu counties, as well as the seaside regions of Catalina and Santa Barbara Islands.

Meteorologists cautioned against swimming, since the current atmospheric conditions render swimming perilous, and even implored citizens to avoid standing atop coastal rocks as they may be lethally dangerous in such scenarios.

The Beach Hazard is scheduled to expire on Thursday. Heightened tides between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. are likely to reach up to 7 or 8 feet in height, thus escalating the possibility of drowning and potentially capsizing miniature vessels in the coastal areas.

Furthermore, the NWS has proclaimed that rip currents may draw swimmers and surfers out to sea.
