Freeway closures in Lancaster and Palmdale California

The City of Lancaster announced on June 2, 2023, that there will be full closures on the northbound and southbound Antelope Valley Freeway (SR-14) between Technology Drive in Palmdale and Avenue A in Lancaster. 

The closures will take place from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday, June 2nd to Saturday, June 3rd, and there will be lane replacement between Avenue N and Avenue M. 

The closures are necessary to replace the pavement and improve ride quality, which will increase the lifespan of the lanes by 40 years or more. You can find real-time traffic information at quickmap.dot.ca.gov.
