Small Plane Crashes in Riverside County

FRENCH VALLEY, Today a small aircraft crashed, One person was killed and three others people were injured in Riverside County, Authorities said.

According to The Federal Aviation Administration airplane solo-engine Cessna 172 collided minutes after leaving the runway from French Valley Airport in Murrieta at approximately 2:45

Law enforcement officials stated four occupants were on the plane. Three victims were transported to the hospital and the fourth person was pronounced deceased at the scene.

None of the injured victims identities were immediately released.

No other injuries or fatalities were reported.

The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA is investigating the crash.
