Sunland Structure Fire Knocked Down

On July 29th, 2023, at 4:20 pm, a fire broke out at a property located at 10650 N Nassau Av. The initial report indicated that the fire had started in a detached garage at 10630 N Mather Ave  ., in the back of the property, and had spread to the surrounding vegetation, posing a threat to a nearby home. However, the address was later corrected.

The first responders, consisting of 22 LAFD personnel, were able to bring the flames under control within 18 minutes, confining the fire to the garage. There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
