Knicks v. Raptors

On Monday, August 21, The New York Knicks filed a lawsuit against the Toronto Raptors, alleging a former employee, Ikechukwu Azotam, who was employed this summer illegally grabbed thousands of proprietary files' and took them to Toronto.

The New York Knicks released a statement saying. "We have no choice but to take this action." The lawsuit alleges that Azotam started forwarding proprietary information to his Gmail account, once the Raptors offered him the position.

Some of the information included play frequency reports, a 2022-23 Knicks prep book, video scouting, and more, additionally, Some of the information was allegedly shared with Darko Rajaković, the new Coach for the Raptors.

As stated in the lawsuit, Azotam's last day with the Knicks was August 14, and New York discovered his email activity the next day. No further information regarding the alleged incident is currently available.
