Vehicle struck in Glendale by an Outbound Antelope Valley Train

A Metrolink Train in Antelope Valley heading in the outbound direction reportedly hit an automobile on the tracks near San Fernando Road and Doran Street bordering the City of Los Angeles and Glendale.

The address of the incident, occurred at 5440 W San Fernando Rd, at 5:44 p.m. on Saturday.

Officials said the train continued to travel a short stretch 'northbound' before arriving at an emergency stop, on the train tracks

The motorist was the only person in the auto that was hit, by the train, The victim was found walking near a crash and appeared to be uninjured.

All 95 passengers including an Engineer, and a Conductor, have denied any injuries officials said.

The location of the incident was determined to be within the city of Glendale. The Glendale Fire Department, assisted by LAFD will handle the investigation regarding this matter.
