Three victims were murdered in a "racially motivated" shooting at a Dollar General in Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday, August 26, officials said.
All three victims were Black, and the suspect, who was described as a white male who had an ideology of hate messages written, according to Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters.
Police recovered an AR-15-style rifle and a firearm. The suspect was wearing an outfitted tactical vest when he shot the victims, two males, and a female, before turning the weapon on himself, according to Waters. No one else was injured in the incident.
