Heatwave advisories are in effect on Monday and Tuesday as temperatures are predicted to increase by 8-16 degrees, and wildfires threaten arid areas of Southern California.

Due to higher-than-normal temperatures, The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning. Residents are also asked to follow safety procedures to safeguard themselves and their homes and follow evacuation orders if necessary.
