Lincoln Heights Greater Alarm Structure Fire Extinguished

There was a large fire at 2311 N Daly St. in Lincoln Heights on August 29, 2023, at 11:51 a.m. Firefighters responded and found a one-story commercial building on fire. They used hose lines to put out the fire on the first floor but then discovered more fire on a mezzanine. 

It took 88 firefighters 57 minutes to access, confine and put out the flames. Other companies were brought in to help with the workload. The LAFD CERT program volunteers helped by providing hydration and rehab for the firefighters. Luckily, no injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
