Traffic Collision in Downtown LA

Downtown LA Traffic Collision: 

On August 31, 2023, at 11:05 a.m., a traffic collision occurred at 128 E Pico Bl, which involved a hydrant and the front of a business at the intersection of East Pico Boulevard and South Los Angeles Street. 

Luckily, nobody was trapped, and no one was taken to the hospital. Crews have notified the DWP to assist in fully shutting off the water flow from the damaged hydrant. They have also informed the LA Department of Building and Safety to assess the building damage. 

The Urban Search and Rescue teams are still at the scene, working to assist in bringing the vehicle back onto the street. The LAPD Inc # 1888 has been informed. No further updates are available at this time.
