Small aircraft crashes near Airport in Compton

A small aircraft carrying a banner crashed into a fence in a residential area in Compton on Sunday. The incident occurred a few blocks away from the Compton/Woodley Airport at around 1:30 pm. The aircraft was taking off when it experienced some mechanical issues and had to return to the airport. The pilot, who was the only person on board, appeared to be unharmed but shaken and may have been taken to the hospital for a precautionary check-up. No one on the ground was injured in the incident.
