Adams Normandie Structure Fire Now Out

On July 9th, 2023 at 10:57 AM, a fire was reported at a three-story craftsman home located at 2249 S Harvard Bl. The firefighters found light smoke showing and located the fire on the 3rd floor. They quickly switched to Offensive mode and were able to knock down the fire at Adams Normandie within 27 minutes.

The fire attack crew ascended interior stairwells with hose lines, while ventilation crews went to the roof to cut holes for smoke and super-heated gases to escape. A total of 47 firefighters were involved in the operation, and they were able to access, confine, and extinguish the flames without any reported injuries. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
