Onlookers watching a skateboard show in Hollywood became rowdy

HOLLYWOOD —On Saturday, September 9, 2023, A crowd of onlookers watching a skateboard show in Hollywood became rowdy, igniting fireworks, setting trash reciprocals, and a vehicle on fire.

The incident started at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Hollywood Boulevard and Las Palmas Avenue, The Los Angeles Police Department said.

Video footage showed fire blazing from garbage containers, filled with heavy smoke, and fireworks sparkling, some people were seen taking selfies.

Additional Reports revealed an automobile was also set ablaze during the turmoil. Skateboarders road on ramps on each side of the fiery vehicle, Fox 11 news reported.

Law Enforcement Officers responded to the location and broke up the group, while fire officials extinguished the fire, police said, adding, there were currently no reports of injuries. Fox 11 reported 3 people were arrested for alleged vandalism.
