The Biden White House has a process for impeachment investigations

The Biden White House has employed a strategic approach in response to the impeachment inquiry: dismissal, compartmentalization, and reprimand. 

While House Republicans on Capitol Hill are fully committed to the inquiry, President Joe Biden chose to overlook questions regarding impeachment. This reaction is indicative of his broader reelection message that focuses on effectively fulfilling his responsibilities as president in order to earn the support of American voters for another term. During a fundraising event in Virginia, away from cameras, President Biden emphasized his dedication to his duties, stating that he wakes up each day with a focus on addressing issues that directly impact the American people rather than becoming consumed by impeachment discussions.

House Republicans are attempting to link President Biden to his son's business dealings and divert attention away from former President Donald Trump's legal troubles. Despite months of investigation, Republicans have yet to produce substantial evidence implicating President Biden in any wrongdoing during his time as vice president when he attended a business dinner with his son's associates.

The White House has been making preparations for the possibility of impeachment ever since Republicans gained control of the House in November. They have allocated approximately twenty-four staff members from the counsel's office to handle this matter. Historically, threats of impeachment have been infrequent, presenting a challenge when attempting to draw comparisons.
