Hello, movie fans, I've returned from the screening room, and am astonished by the visual elements of each film I had the pleasure of viewing, but one film stands out, entitled "Story Ave" which is Directed by Aristotle Torres.

"Story Ave" is centered around a South Bronx teenager Kadir (Asante Blackk) a masterful visual artist who loses his path as a result of the death of his younger brother. Overwhelmed with grief and nightmares while struggling to survive, the pressures of school and family, Kadir escapes into the thrilling yet perilous world of graffiti gangs. To prove himself worthy he joins his neighborhood’s ruling gang, Kadir attempts to rob no-nonsense MTA conductor Luis (Luis Guzmán) but he's caught off guard when Guzman agrees to give Kadir money if he’ll sit down to have a meal with him.
After their conversation, a meaningful, transformative friendship develops between the two, and for the first time, Kadir sees how his artistic talent could lead to a career and a better life.
About Director Aristotle Torres
Aristotle Torres is a writer/director out of NYC who developed STORY AVE first as a short film and then through the prestigious Sundance Labs. An accomplished music video director in the past, Aristotle has worked with artists such as J Cole, Nas, 2Chainz, and Ludacris. He has directed commercials and campaigns for brands such as Pepsi, Red Bull, Under Armour, and Starbucks. He also has written and directed short films that have played at various festivals across the world.
"Story Ave" is available in English and Spanish with a Running Time of 94 mins, released by Kino Lorber on September 29, in New York, and on October 13, in Los Angeles.
