Detectives searching for 3 suspects who used mace while burglarizing the DTLA jewelry mart

Authorities are searching for approximately three suspects suspected of burglarizing a jewelry mart in downtown Los Angeles on Friday.

LAPD was dispatched to the 700 block of Hill Street at roughly 3:30 p.m. after receiving a call about a robbery in progress.

At the scene, detectives found out that the culprits sprayed mace inside the store before escaping from the location in a  vehicle identified as a white Mercedes-Benz.

According to reports, no information was calculated on the dollar amount of jewelry the suspects swiped.

Investigators described the suspects as a male 5 feet, 8 inches tall sporting a light-colored blue hooded sweatshirt and dark blue jeans, the second suspect is a male about 5 feet, 9 inches tall wearing a blue and white hooded sweatshirt with white letters, the third suspect was a man wearing a black sweatshirt. and a black  baseball cap.
