Los Angeles Water District's water shortage thought of the first: Oceanfloor desalination

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District has announced its partnership with OceanWell to examine the viability of harvesting drinking water from desalination pods put on the floor of the Ocean, several miles off the shore of California. The pilot project desires to launch the nation’s first- “blue water farm.”
