Six teens were assessed by medics after ingesting an unknown substance

Update on Porter Ranch Multi-Patient Medical Incident.

Location: 20000 W Sesnon Blvd.

Six high-school-aged patients were assessed after ingesting an unknown substance. Out of the six, five were transported to nearby hospitals by LAFD ambulances as they had non-life-threatening medical complaints. The LAPD is investigating this  Incident. There is nothing further to report at this time.

Earlier at 7:44 pm on the same day, six juveniles with medical complaints were reported to have ingested an unknown substance. Firefighters and paramedics were on the scene to assess and provide initial treatments.
