On Saturday, Oct. 7, Five individuals were injured after a shooting in Inglewood.
According to LAFD officials, The incident was called in at approximately 4:40 p.m., and occurred close to the 3300 block of Manchester Boulevard,
There was a report on how extensive the injuries sustained by the victims. The motive for the shooting is currently unknown.
After further investigation, officials said Two people were killed and three were injured. The Inglewood police department said a male victim died at the scene. A second male victim passed away while being transported to the hospital. Both men's identities have not been immediately released pending notification to next of kin and medical examiner's assessment.
The other 3 male victims, were taken to hospitals for further medical evaluation and treatment, one is said to be in acute condition. The others are believed to have sustained not life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Investigators are checking surveillance footage from businesses in the area to learn more about the incident.
No information regarding the suspect was released, detectives said.
