At 1:50 p.m. today, a one-story 'Jack In The Box' fast food restaurant caught fire and was engulfed in flames at 11400 S Figueroa Street, located in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) received the call and immediately dispatched 30 firefighters to the location. The firefighters worked tirelessly in the offensive mode for 45 minutes to access, confine, and fully extinguish the stubborn flames in the 2,800-square-foot restaurant that was built in 2002 and was in operation at the time of the fire. No one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
