Three people were killed and another wounded in North Hollywood Shooting

NORTH HOLLYWOOD-Three victims were shot and killed and another injured on Monday, in North Hollywood, LAPD Officers said.

The incident transpired across the highway from St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, at approximately 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Moorpark Street and Lankershim Boulevard, a spokesperson for the LAPD said.

Officers said multiple rounds of gunfire exploded from a silver sedan with three or four male suspects inside. The suspects shot at a black car and escaped the scene at a high speed.

According to officers, one victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, Two of the victims self-transported themselves to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, in a black Mercedes-Benz sedan, where they passed away.

The vehicle stayed parked in front of the emergency room entrance, where officials blocked off the area with yellow police tape.

The identities of the individuals who were killed were not immediately released to the public. The other victim remained hospitalized in an undisclosed condition.

The suspects remain at large and their descriptions are currently  unknown.

The reason for the shooting is under investigation.
