A 25-year-old man was Electrocuted while working in University Park

 On October 19, 2023, at 12:45 pm, A 25-year-old man was electrocuted. The man was identified as a worker on the property who, According to officials was injured after making contact with an electrical source while working on the ceiling.

The incident occurred at 2718 S Figueroa Street.
Fire personnel extricated the man from the ceiling and rushed him to a local hospital in acute condition. The man's name has not been released to the public. Per protocol, Cal OSHA  will conduct the incident investigation.
