Victim struck and dragged through the streets by a hit-and-run driver

SOUTH LOS ANGELES -On Tuesday a pedestrian was pronounced deceased after being hit by a hit-and-run motorist and dragged down several streets.

The crash happened approximately after 9:00 a.m., in the vicinity of 117th Street and Broadway. After the crash, the motorist continued driving for almost 1320 yards with the victim attached to the automobile.

According to authorities, the victim's body was discovered at the corner of El Segundo Boulevard and Broadway. Before the incident occurred the victim, was riding on a bicycle, their name, age, and gender have not been immediately released to the public.

The suspect is described as a male operating a blue and white van, perhaps a Chevrolet. Traffic was shut down in the area to complete an investigation.
