At 5:52 a.m., on October 23, A Greater Alarm fire was set ablaze in a Two-story vacant hotel, at 1418 N New Hampshire Avenue.
The fire was on the 2nd floor. Ventilation in the roof has opened holes and heavy flames are erupting through them.
The hotel was heavily boarded up, and access into and up to the involved area of the flames caused a delay in getting to the core of the blaze.
Firefighters attacked and destroyed the fire within an hour on the incident chronometer.
There are no injuries reported. No other structures were exposed to the blaze.
LAFD Arson investigators are responding to the investigation, per protocol. No further information is available.
Correction, This property is listed as a Motel, not a Hotel, 10/25/23 2:07 p.m.,
