CHP Seeking Help Finding Suspect Involved in a Hit-and-Run Deadly Crash in East Los Angeles
The California Highway Patrol (CHP), in the East Los Angeles Area headquarters, is seeking the public’s assistance with information on a hit-and-run fatal traffic collision.
On October 24, 2023, at roughly 7:07 p.m., East L A CHP units were dispatched to a traffic collision on South Downey Road, south of Hubbard Street
The incident involved an unidentified motorist of a silver Honda Pilot and a male pedestrian. The motorist of the Honda continued driving southbound on Downey Road, towards Telegraph Road without rendering aid to the injured victim.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries. The silver Honda Pilot has front-end crash damage.
