The After is a film that makes you want to reach out and help the victims, and in a superheroic way destroy the bad guy, while comforting lead actor Dayo Oyelowo, as he enters a world of tragic events, that affect his life forever.  Oyelowo attempts to reconnect to his reality while healing, he is riddled with grief and despair.

His job as a driver opens a gateway into the lives of others, they have no clue what he is feeling, and how empty he feels inside, his heart and spirit are broken, but there is one who does know what it feels like to experience the realm of a broken heart. As we circle to the end of the film an innocent child recognizes his need for comfort., her embrace of a hug, and a moment away from bickering parents, breaks the barrier that stands between sympathy, empathy, and healing. This short film was amazing to view, however, each viewer is left to assume their own ending.
A powerful, heartwrenching, tear-jerker that intrigues audiences.
