FIRE OUT in Downtown L.A. High-Rise

Downtown, Los Angeles-Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire at, 801 S Hope Street in a 20-story, residential high-rise. on November 2. at approximately 12:11 pm.,

Upon arrival, officials saw no indication of an active fire.

To further investigate, Firefighters climbed to the 16th floor and discovered a blaze extingushed on the balcony of one residential unit.

The outer sprinkler system activated and doused the flames. Fire personnel conducted an additional investigation to determine the extent of any water issues in the apartment beneath the unit  involved in the fire.
No injuries were reported. No further details. are available.
