Disney and Pixar's "Inside Out 2" is set to introduce a new character, Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke. The movie returns to the mind of Riley, who is now a teenager, just as headquarters is undergoing sudden demolition to make room for new emotions. The original characters, Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, are uncertain about how to feel about the new addition.
Director Kelsey Mann says that Anxiety is not the type to take a back seat, and her arrival promises to stir things up in headquarters. The movie is set for a summer 2024 release and will only be available in theaters.
Mark Nielsen produces the film, which is directed by Kelsey Mann and features Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust. "Inside Out 2" promises to be a feel-good movie that explores the inner workings of the human mind.
